Thejomaya, a centre for excellence promoted
recently by Uma Yogeshwaran at Karpagam Avenue to enrich Knowledge for students
in their studies organised a mathematics tournament where students of class 9 and
10 participated. The Competition was for students to prove their skills in mathematics
and there were different rounds to reach the final stage.
The competition started with a qualifying round
where 24 students participated of which 16 were selected based on the scores obtained
in the test.
These 16 students pitched against each other
to advance to the quarter-finals,semi-finals and the final round.After gruelling
tough rounds, Siddharth of Vidya Mandir, a 10th standard student was the winner
and Bhargavi of Chettinad Vidyashram was the runner-up, who is also a student of
